<p>Forex (Foreign Exchange) simply means the buying of one currency and selling another at the same time. In other words, the currency of one country is exchanged for those of another. The currencies of the world are on a floating exchange rate, and are always traded in pairs Euro/Dollar, Dollar/Yen, etc. In excess of 85 percent of all daily transactions involve trading of the major currencies.</p>
<p>Four major currency pairs are usually used for investment purposes. They are: Euro against US dollar, US dollar against Japanese yen, British pound against US dollar, and US dollar against Swiss franc. The following notation is used for these currency pairs: EUR/USD, USD/JPY, GBP/USD, and USD/CHF. You may consider them as &#8220;blue chips&#8221; of the FOREX market. No dividends are paid on currencies. The investment profits come from well known &#8220;buy low - sell high&#8221;.</p>
<p>If you think one currency will appreciate against another, you may exchange that second currency for the first one and stay in it. In case everything goes as planned, some time later you may make the opposite deal - exchange this first currency back for that other - and collect profits.</p>
<p>Transactions on the FOREX market are fulfilled by dealers at major banks or FOREX brokerage companies. FOREX is the world wide market, so when you are sleeping in the North America some dealers in Europe are trading currencies with their Japanese counter parties. Therefore the FOREX market is active 24 hours a day and dealers at major institutions are working in three shifts. Clients may place take-profit and stop-loss orders with brokers for overnight execution.</p>
<p>Price movements on the FOREX market are very smooth and without gaps that you face almost every morning on the stock market. The daily turnover on the FOREX market is about $1.2 trillion, so investor can enter and exit position without problems. The fact is that the FOREX market never stops, even on the day of September-11, 2001 you could obtain two-side quotes on currencies.</p>
<p>The currency foreign exchange market is the largest and oldest financial market in the world. It is also called the foreign exchange market, or &#8220;FOREX&#8221; or &#8220;FX&#8221; market for short. It is the biggest and most liquid market in the world, and it is traded mainly through the 24 hour-a-day inter-bank currency market - the primary market for currencies. The forex market is a cash (or &#8220;spot&#8221;) inter-bank market. By comparison, the currency futures market is only one per cent as big.</p>
<p>Unlike the futures and stock markets, trading of currencies is not centralized on an exchange. Forex literally follows the sun around the world. Trading moves from major banking centers of the U.S. to Australia and New Zealand, to the Far East, to Europe and finally back to the U.S.</p>
<p>In the past, the forex inter-bank market was not available to small speculators due to the large minimum transaction sizes and often-stringent financial requirements. Banks, major currency dealers and the occasional huge speculator used to be the principal dealers. Only they were able to take advantage of the currency market&#8217;s fantastic liquidity and strong trending nature of many of the world&#8217;s primary currency exchange rates.</p>
<p>Today, foreign exchange market maker brokers such as FX Solutions are able to break down the larger sized inter-bank units, and offer small traders the opportunity to buy or sell any number of these smaller units (lots).</p>
<p>These brokers give virtually any size trader, including individual speculators or smaller companies, the option to trade the same rates and price movements as the large players who once dominated the market. Market makers quote buying and selling rates for currencies, and they profit on the difference between their buying and selling rates.</p>
<p><span id="more-47"></span></p>
<h3>Why Trading FOREX?</h3>
<p>The cash/spot FOREX markets possess certain unique attributes that offer unmatched potential for profitable trading in any market condition or any stage of the business cycle:</p>
<p><strong>A 24-hour market</strong>: A trader may take advantage of all profitable market conditions at any time; no waiting for the &#8216;opening bell&#8217;.</p>
<p><strong>Highest liquidity</strong>: The FOREX market with an average trading volume of over $1.5 trillion per day is the most liquid market in the world. That means that a trader can enter or exit the market at will in almost any market condition minimal execution barriers or risk and no daily trading limit.</p>
<p><strong>High leverage</strong>: A leverage ratio of up to 400 is typical compared to a leverage ratio of 2 (50% margin requirement) in equity markets. Of course, this makes trading in the cash/spot forex market a double-edged sword the high leverage makes the risk of the down side loss much greater in the same way that it makes the profit potential on the upside much more attractive.</p>
<p><strong>Low transaction cost</strong>: The retail transaction cost (the bid/ask spread) is typically less than 0.1% (10 pips or points) under normal market conditions. At larger dealers, the spread could be less than 5 pips, and may widen considerably in fast moving markets.</p>
<p><strong>Always a bull market</strong>: A trade in the FOREX market involves selling or buying one currency against another. Thus, a bull market or a bear market for a currency is defined in terms of the outlook for its relative value against other currencies. If the outlook is positive, we have a bull market in which a trader profits by buying the currency against other currencies. Conversely, if the outlook is pessimistic, we have a bull market for other currencies and a trader profits by selling the currency against other currencies. In either case, there is always a bull market trading opportunity for a trader.</p>
<p><strong>Inter-bank market</strong>: The backbone of the FOREX market consists of a global network of dealers (mainly major commercial banks) that communicate and trade with one another and with their clients through electronic networks and telephones. There are no organized exchanges to serve as a central location to facilitate transactions the way the New York Stock Exchange serves the equity markets. The FOREX market operates in a manner similar to the way the NASDAQ market in the United States operates, and thus it is also referred to as an &#8216;over the counter&#8217; or OTC market.</p>
<p><strong>No one can corner the market</strong>: The FOREX market is so vast and has so many participants that no single entity, even a central bank, can control the market price for an extended period of time. Even interventions by mighty central banks are becoming increasingly ineffectual and short-lived, and thus central banks are becoming less and less inclined to intervene to manipulate market prices.</p>
<p><strong>Unregulated</strong>: The FOREX market is generally regarded as an unregulated market although the operations of major dealers, such as commercial banks in money centers, are regulated under the banking laws. The conduct and operation of retail FOREX brokerages are not regulated under any laws or regulations specific to the FOREX market, and in fact many of such establishments in the United States do not even report to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The currency futures and options that are traded on exchanges such as Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) are regulated in the way other exchange-traded derivatives are regulated.</p>

Inquiries come via e-mail and your web site, and you try to send information to each hot prospect as quickly as you can. You know that you can drastically increase the likelihood of making a sale by satisfying each person&#8217;s need for information quickly!</p>
<p>But, after you&#8217;ve delivered that first bit of information to your prospect, do you send him any further information?</p>
<p>If you are like most Internet marketers, you don&#8217;t.</p>
<p>When you don&#8217;t follow that initial message with additional information later on, you let a valuable prospect slip from your grasp! This is a potential customer who may have been very interested in your products, but who lost your contact information, or was too busy to make a purchase when your first message reached him. Often, a prospect will purposely put off making a purchase, to see if you find him important enough to follow up with later. When he doesn&#8217;t receive a follow up message from you, he will take his business elsewhere.<span id="more-30"></span></p>
<h3>Are you losing profits due to inconsistent and ineffective follow up?</h3>
<p>Following up with leads is more than just a process - it&#8217;s an art. In order to be effective, you need to design a follow up system, and stick to it, EVERY DAY! If you don&#8217;t follow up with your prospects consistently, INDIVIDUALLY, and in a timely fashion, then you might as well forget the whole follow up process.</p>
<h3>Consistent follow up gets results!</h3>
<p>When I first started marketing and following up with prospects, I used a follow up method that I now call the &#8220;List Technique.&#8221; I had a large database containing the names and e-mail addresses of people who had specifically requested information about my products and services. These prospects had already received my first letter by the time they requested more information, so I used the company&#8217;s latest news as a follow up piece. I would write follow up newsletters every now and then, and send them, in one mass mailing, to everyone who had previously requested information from me. While this probably did help me win a few additional orders, it wasn&#8217;t a very good follow up method. Why isn&#8217;t the &#8220;List Technique&#8221; very effective?</p>
<p>* The List Technique isn&#8217;t consistent. Proponents of the List Technique tend to only send out follow up messages when their companies have &#8220;big news&#8221;.</p>
<p>* List Technique messages don&#8217;t give the potential customer any additional information about the product or service in question. He can&#8217;t make a more informed buying decision after receiving a newsletter! If someone is wondering whether your company sells the best knick-knacks, what does he care that you&#8217;ve just moved your headquarters?</p>
<p>* List Technique messages convey a &#8220;big list&#8221; mentality to your potential customers. When I used to write follow up messages using the List Technique, I was writing news bulletins to everyone I knew! I should have been sending a personal message to each individual who wanted to know more about my products.</p>
<h3>What follow up method really works?</h3>
<p>Following up with each lead individually, multiple times, but at set intervals, and with pre-written messages, will dramatically increase sales! Others who use this same technique confirm that they have all at least doubled the sales of various products! In order to set this system up, though, you need to do some planning.</p>
<p>First, you&#8217;ll need to develop your follow up messages. If you&#8217;ve been marketing on the Internet for any length of time, then you should already have a first informative letter. Your second letter marks the beginning of the follow up process, and should go into more detail than the first letter. Fill this letter with details that you didn&#8217;t have the space to add to the first letter. Stress the BENEFITS of your products or services!</p>
<p>Your next 2-3 follow up messages should be rather short. Include lists of the benefits and potential uses of your products and services. Write each letter so that your prospects can skim the contents, and still see the full force of your message.</p>
<p>The next couple of follow up messages should create a sense of urgency in your prospect&#8217;s mind. Make a special offer, giving him a reason to order NOW instead of waiting any longer. After reading these follow up messages, your prospect should want to order immediately!</p>
<p>Phrase each of your final 1 or 2 follow up messages in the form of a question. Ask your prospect why he hasn&#8217;t yet placed an order? Try to get him to actually respond. Ask if the price is to high, the product isn&#8217;t the right color or doesn&#8217;t have the right features, or if he is looking for something else entirely. (By this time, it&#8217;s unlikely that this person will order from you. However, his feedback can help you modify your follow up letters or products, so that other prospects will order from you.)</p>
<p>The timing of your follow up letters is just as important as their content. You don&#8217;t want one prospect to receive a follow up the day after he gets your initial informative letter, while another prospect waits weeks for a follow up!</p>
<p>Always send an initial, informative letter as soon as it is requested, and send the first follow up 24 hours afterwards. You want your hot prospects to have information quickly, so that they can make informed buying decisions!</p>
<p>Send the next 2-3 follow up messages between 1 and 3 days apart. Your prospect is still hot, and is probably still shopping around! Tell him about the benefits of your products and services, as opposed to your competitors&#8217;. You will make the sale!</p>
<p>Send the final follow up messages later on. You certainly don&#8217;t want to annoy your prospect! Make sure that these last letters are at least 4 days apart.</p>
<p>Following up effectively seems complicated, but it doesn&#8217;t have to be! So many potential customers are lost because of poor follow up - don&#8217;t you want to be one of the few to get it right?</p>

The Title Tag is an HTML code that shows the words that appear at the top title bar of your browser. The Title Tag is not displayed anywhere else on the page. It is these words or phrase that appears as the title of your page in the hyperlink listings on the search engine results.<span> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The user’s in-turn click on this hyperlink to go to your website from Search Engine Results Page (SERP). Therefore, the significance of the Title Tag is evident as all search engines use the Title Tag to gather information about your site.<span id="more-26"></span></p>

Think of it as a crisply worded sales phrase and include your most relevant and specific keywords or key phrases in the Title Tag describing the content of the page.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">You could put the product or service you are offering in the Title Tag, instead of your firm or company’s name. For example, if you have a site offering kitchen appliances, instead of having a title like “www.cooking.com”, you could have a specific keyword rich Title Tag like “Bar Blenders: Waring Kitchenaid Hamilton beach Cuisinart bar blenders and blender”. This title would cover several keyword phrases like- bar blenders, bar blender, Waring bar blenders, Kitchenaid bar blenders, Hamilton Beach bar blenders, Cuisinart bar blenders, blender etc.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Most users search for specific products and services, not company names. If you do wish to include the site name, then you can add it at the end of the Title Tag. Having your most important keyword phrases towards the beginning of the Title Tag helps display your title in bold in the SERP (search engines results page). Title Tags are also the text that gets captured when users bookmark your page.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Google usually reads about 90 characters of your Title Tag. So, leverage this length to cover prominent keywords relevant to the page. A common mistake webmasters make is to have the same Title Tag throughout the site. The Meta Description Tag needs to be kept brief yet informative. About 25-30 words description should do fine. Keywords and key phrases should be included in the Meta Description Tag, though care should be taken not to repeat them too often. Like the Title Tag, the Meta Description Tag should be different and customized for each page depending on the content theme of each page. Therefore, it makes more sense to use this Meta Tag in case you don’t want certain parts of your web page indexed. Apart from these popular Meta Tags, there are few more Tags that are not so popular. <h3>Meta Refresh Tag</h3>
<p class="MsoNormal">The Meta Refresh Tag is used to redirect a visitor from one page to another or refresh the same page in a specified time. Same page refresh comes in use when the page content is changing very quickly, for example if there is a running score of a game or stock prices updates happening on that page. When inserted into an HTML document, it causes the user’s browser to load the same or a new web page after a specified number of seconds. This Meta Tag has been manipulated and is sometimes abused as a tool to “bait and switch” a user from a doorway page.</p>
